Sharon Roberson-Jones
Executive Director

The organization was founded by Sharon Roberson-Jones, Executive Director of Excellent TEEN Choice, Inc. Sharon is a native of Carthage, Texas and a graduate of Panola College, Tarrant County College, and Texas Wesleyan University. She is also a member of Leadership Arlington Class of 2016 and the Sigma Gamma Rho Incorporated--Zeta Delta Sigma Chapter. She has recently been named the Ark-La-Tex Remarkable Woman of the Year with KTAL NBC Channel 6.  She was also awarded Humanitarian of the Year 2019 from the Allen Dave Services.  She is known for her work with youth throughout the regions of North Texas, East Texas, and Southeast Texas. As a professional of longstanding commitment to the empowerment of young people, you can expect that ETC will capitalize on its commitment to all teens and will continue to grow well into the future.  For her work in the community, she has received awards and acknowledgements from the State of Texas, the Sigma Gamma Rho, Inc., The Mansfield Trailblazers, Forest Hill Church Ministries, Arlington Alliance for Youth, First Rate, Inc. and many more.  She has served on several boards including Girls Inc. Tarrant County and The Henry Henderson Foundation.  Even in the midst of her serving the community, she is an active board member of Carthage Mission and Texas Wesleyan University Alumni Board.  While growing up in a small East Texas town, Sharon credits her success to four ladies in her village:  her mother Ollie Ruth Roberson for her wit, humor and independence; and three ladies from her home church Pastor Dr. Mattie Thompson for expanding her territory with the many trips, conferences, and theatrical plays; Evangelist Ruth White for teaching her how to minister to prisoners and half-way houses residents, and listening to the youth; and lastly Mrs. Velma Waters for pushing her into various leadership positions.  Sharon is happily married to her childhood neighbor and classmate, Reginald Jones, who is a retired educator from the Dallas Independent School District.

Eric Love
Lead Facilitator

Eric Love and his lovely wife Catrenia are passionate about helping people. Eric spent 12 years in the United States Army where he studied Nuclear, and Chemical Biology. He is a decorated veteran who is proud to have served in the war against terrorism. While in the Military he attended Central Texas College pursuing a degree in Psychology.

Shortly after leaving the military life, Eric moved to Longview, TX where he currently resides. He served as Program Manager for Wellness Pointe’s East Texas Abstinence Program also known as (VIRGINITY RULES) and their Home School Program. Eric was also appointed Manager of a New Fatherhood initiative at Wellness Pointe entitled (Strong Fathers-Strong Families.) He was also a Mentor for the Buckner Children & Family Services (S.T.A.R.S.) Program.

Eric served as Education Coordinator for the 12 MEN OF PURPOSE, a male involvement program committed to restoring young men to their proper place in society. He worked as Youth Program Director and radio announcer for KJTX 104.5 FM. His youth focused program aired every Monday night from 7pm until 8pm.

His work with youth has been featured on KLTV 7 NEWS, CBS 19 NEWS, NBC’s Today Show, ABC Prime Time, and the New York Times. Eric also served as Talk Show Host for MAN TALK, a televised talk show aimed at helping men regain their proper roles in their homes and in their communities.

He graduated from the Texas Institute of Biblical Studies receiving his Bachelors Degree in Christian Psychology and is now the Founding Pastor of Church On Purpose Longview. He is also Visionary of the “iSERVE” community movement that now has several hundred volunteers in participation.  Above all other attributes, Eric loves God and understands the purpose for his life. He travels the region presenting a powerful message of hope and encouragement to thousands of people each year.  Eric serves as the Lead Facilitator for the EXCELLENT TEEN Choice Abstinence Program. ETC serves the youth of East Texas teaching them the benefits of making excellent choices.

LotteiceGreene

Lotteice Greene
Facilitator

Lotteice L Greene is a Chicago native who is committed to youth success inside of the classroom and in life.  A 2002 graduate of The Art Institute of Dallas, Lotteice holds an Associate’s and BA in Graphic Design.  After receiving her Texas Teaching Certification Lotteice worked as the Graphic Communications teacher for Chapel Hill ISD. Currently the owner of Ideal by Design LLC, a company dedicated to serving the painting and graphic needs of their clients.  Lotteice also serves as a board member of the Ina Mae Greene “For My Sisters” foundation. This foundation serves as an information highway that connects domestic violence victims with partners who aid in getting them discretely to safety."  Lotteice is a facilitator of abstinence education under the leadership of Excellent Teen Choice.  She believes that student success is created through meaningful relationships and the application of practical principles.

Zorana Skinner
Administrative Assistant & Service Learning

Zorana Skinner is the Administrative Assistant to the director of Excellent Teen Choice, Inc. in Carthage, Texas. The work of Excellent Teen Choice, Inc. is important to her because the focus is on Teens making Excellent choices today for their future.

She always ready for a new challenge. Her career path is proof since she is passionate about learning and developing new skills that has taught her everything from developing happy clients to being involved in a variety of projects.  By the time she joined Excellent Teen Choice, Inc., she has been a retail associate/manager, paralegal, licensed LVN, and pediatric nurse.  Now, she is bringing all those experiences together to help advance the teens in the community of Panola County.  She has the opportunity to work on a variety of teen projects for Excellent Teen Choice, Inc.  A few highlights include:

  • CLEE Mentoring (Character, Leadership, Education, &Entrepreneurship)
  • Stop Bullying Campaign
  • Stop Vaping Campaign

She is always eager to contribute support and make a difference when it comes to serving the community.  She is also committed to excellence in service and the needs others in the workplace.  She takes pride in representing Excellent Teen Choice, Inc. professionally and with finesse.
